The Crazy Catering Company backs British Food Fortnight
So you're putting on an event and you are looking for a catering company? You are aware of what
you eat and where it comes from but you're wondering if your catering company care as much as you? The Crazy Catering Company does and we are proud to be backing British Food Fortnight running from Saturday 19th September to 4th October 2009.
Every time you open the paper or turn on the television there seems to be more discussion about buying from close by to reduce food miles and at The Crazy Catering Company we do, buying and shopping locally. We believe there is nothing as nice as knowing that the food you are eating comes from is sourced nearby, that is why The Crazy Catering Company always buys locally.
Ian Robinson, founder of The Crazy Catering Company said, “We use Houghtons to provide all our meat which is based in Warrington and we are also in discussions with the Walton Lea Project to discuss sourcing our vegetables from them. It is important that businesses source locally to help sustain projects like Walton Lea and other small businesses, especially in the current economic climate. At The Crazy Catering Company, we are passionate about food, and have specialist knowledge about the origins of our ingredients and you should be too, that is why we are encouraging everyone to get on board with the British Food Fortnight and buy locally.”
